Health Informatics Specialist

  •         2 year fixed term role based in Wellington

Acurity is embarking upon an exciting journey where Digital/IT transformation has been identified as critical driver of success. A number of large projects are in train, including a $100M+ rebuild of Wakefield Hospital (including rolling out the best-fit modern technologies into the new build); merging of three Hospital patient administration systems into one and planning/implementing an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

We are looking for an energetic, customer and results focused Health Informatics Specialist to help lead this transformation across our three hospitals and deliver the key projects listed above. If you are known for living and breathing change and have a knack for bringing people along the journey, this is the role for you.

 To be successful in this role you must have:

·       Minimum of 4 years clinical experience.

·       Experience in leading successful Clinical/IT change projects.

·       Proven experience in prioritising and completing a high volume of diverse projects.

·       Exemplary change and project management skills.

·       Flexible and adaptable approach.

·       The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

·       Well-developed problem resolution skills.

·       An ability to translate clinical into technical and vice versa.

 

Ideally you will have also worked in a high functioning digital health environment, and experience in working across multiple hospitals.
