The Bowen team

Bowen Hospital employs more than 120 staff including over 60 qualified nurses. New nursing graduates are partnered with an experienced registered nurse until they become familiar with their role and environment. Bowen’s medical professionals are enthusiastically supported by the hospital administrators and management.

Bowen has a commitment to provide ongoing training for its staff, both on and off site. Opportunities to attend clinical conferences and undertake relevant post graduate study are encouraged and where appropriate financially supported.

Bowen has 3 modern operating theatres, a 7-bed recovery unit, along with a 41-bed hospital, Endoscopy Suite, X-ray and Imaging services, and a 2-bed High Dependency Unit.
