About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients. They will identify potential medical complications and provide interventions, treatments and therapies. The patient experience being important to us, the RN will support the patient and their family/whanau according to their needs and wishes; upholding their rights. The right person will practice in line with the code of conduct and professional boundaries of the Nursing Council of New Zealand.

On top of that, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Advanced level of clinical expertise.
- Proven theatre or PACU nursing experience with a commitment to quality systems.
- Excellent communication skills in a theatre environment.
- The ability to work well in a team with a positive “can do” attitude.
Able to start between December – early February, you will need to hold at least a relevant level 4 qualification or have at least 3 years’ experience as a nurse. Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand is required.
