How to diagnose and manage gastro-oesophageal reflux, dyspepsia and upper gastrointestinal motility disorders and he relevance of H. pylori in upper gastrointestinal disease.
Learning Outcomes:
- Know when to refer the patient with reflux or dyspepsia for further investigation
- Understand principles of management of reflux and dyspepsia, including drug efficacy and safety
- Recognise when treatment is not effective and be able to consider what options need to be considered
- Understand non-pharmaceutical approaches to management of reflux and dyspepsia, including nutritional interventions.
